The card above was postmarked August 27, 1913 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and sent to Leota Weston in Hulett, Wyoming, c/o “Durhams.” The text of the message says:
"Dear Mrs. Weston: …hope you get this card. I did not get a chance to see you before I left. How’s the S.S. getting along. Wish I was out there with you again cause I miss all of you. With love, Claudia. 836 N. Minn. Ave., S.F."
My question is simply: Might this card be from Claudia Johnson, who would wed Henry Sidney Lawrence Linklater in 1920? They settled in Crook County Wyoming and had at least two children – Claude Arthur Linklater and Harriet May Linklater.
Harriet married Hank Maiden in 1947. Hank was the son of Leota (Durham) Weston Maiden – recipient of the above postcard.

Thanks for the note. This is a very OLD postcard, so I doubt there's anyone around who would know whether or not a CLAUDIA JOHNSON lived at this address back then. I suspect she was gone by the time the 1920 census rolled around, but I've not yet confirmed that. A Johnson family in the neighborhood? Thanks.

A Claudia Johnson was born Mar 1893 in S.D., Father August-43-B»Sweden, Mother Carrie-41-B»Norway(the transcriber made an error with her age), brother Arthur-15 and sister Hannah-5.
1910 census»
A Claudia Johnson is living at the address on the Postcard as a "Border". B-1893, Father B-Sweden, Mother B-Norway.
1920 census»
Claudia Johnson-25 is living in Crook Co.,WY with her mother,Carrie-61, brother, Arthur-35 and sister, Hannah-23 (the girls seem to have gotten 2 years younger).
1930 census»
Claudia Linklater-37 is living in Crook Co., WY with her husband Harry-45 and daughter Harriet-1 2/12. Her Father was born in Sweden and her Mother was born in Norway. It states that she was 33 when she got married (for the first time) which would have made her marriage year approx 1926.
P.S. I am descended from George Maiden, George Alexander Maiden, Mary Ethel Maiden.
